Star Wars

I've seen the first three, with Harrison Ford, etc., but haven't seen any of the prequels. I may wait until they're on DVD to watch them. That's like what, 3 years?

I've heard it's good though, so I hope you all enjoy it!

At this theatre here, these two guys waited in line 6 months before episode 2 opened. They camped in a tent. I asked them about LOTR and they started freaking out, "F* that movie, Star Wars baby, uh uh uh!!!".

They were on CNN... yep, nothing like being the world's biggest dorks on the world's leader for news [img]wink.gif[/img]

i already saw the first showing here in Hong Kong [img]smile.gif[/img]

Im not a big fan but me and my friends thought it would be cool to watch the first show!

Some of the acting is dodgy but its for sure a great movie! my favourite one of the newest 3!

Lets see how many Dollars good ol' George Lukas will be able to squeeze out of this one...

yeah, i've heard the first two hours are bad acting and dialogue torture....but the last 30 minutes is spectacular! according to the reviews in chicago papers anyway. so don't worry if you get to the theatre a little late (like 2 hours!) [img]wink.gif[/img]

I love Star Wars. Saw the first three when they came out when I was but a lad. I may check out the new one in a week or so, but Jar Jar Binks curbed my liking for the latest ones.

I'm willing to bet that Radio Shack is getting a ton of sick calls. [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img]

CNN said that something like 600 million Dollars of possible profits within the US will be lost due to people calling in sick...

I saw it in Leicester Square in London on Monday after watching the other 5 films, Lucas and others came in to see us..... the first time ever that all 6 had been seen in release order.

It's fantastic, there were 1300 people in the theatre all day, and half of us were dressed up, ( I wasn't!!!) We even had the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra outside playing the music at Lunchtime!!!!

So yeah.... bit of a fanboy I guess!!!! haha

I've never seen a star wars film but I guess I'll go check this out. I wonder if I will be missing ALOT not seeing the prior films?
